Cyber-bullying could possibly be worse than bullying. When your being bullied, it stops when you leave the person and you are being bullied in maybe 10 or 20 people. When you are being cyber-bullied, the messages can keep on coming to you, even though you've shut your device off, and who knows how many people can watch you being bullied on the internet.
Did you know, that about 43% of students have been cyber-bullied, and 1 out of 4 has had cyber-bullying happen to them more than once. More than 80% of teens use a cellphone often, therefore, it is more common that teens could cyber-bully or be cyber-bullied. About 70% of students have reported seeing frequent cyber-bullying. 68% of teens think that cyber-bullying is a problem and only 1 out of 10 victims will tell a trusted parent or adult about their abuse. 62% of students have been cyber-bullied by someone in school. 46.5%of people have been cyber-bullied by a friend. 55% of people don't know who they've been cyber-bullied by.
